Telegram Notification Gateway
A self-hosted gateway that turns authenticated webhooks into Telegram messages, with templates, retries and full delivery history.
Almost every side project eventually needs to send a notification somewhere, and Telegram is a convenient place for it. The usual result is a bot token copied into every app, message formatting reimplemented each time, and no record of why a notification never arrived.
The Telegram Notification Gateway centralises that. Applications send an authenticated webhook to one endpoint; the gateway decides which bot and which chats to deliver to from its own configuration, renders the message from a safe template, delivers it with retries, and keeps a full history of every request and delivery attempt.
Bot tokens are stored encrypted, each application gets its own rotatable credentials, and nothing about routing can be controlled by the caller. It is built with Bun, TypeScript, Hono and PostgreSQL, with a messenger-style React dashboard.
